Warriors Draft Watch Party, Presented by Carta, to be Held at Thrive City on June 23
The Golden State Warriors will host a Draft Watch Party, presented by Carta, on Tuesday, June 23, beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Thrive City. The event is free and open to the public and will feature a live broadcast of the 2026 NBA Draft on Thrive City's outdoor video board, performances by the Warriors Entertainment Teams and a variety of food and beverage options.
Fans in attendance will also enjoy a chalk talk featuring Warriors’ television play-by-play announcer Bob Fitzgerald, analyst Kelenna Azubuike and Warriors legend Jamaal Wilkes. Wilkes was selected with the 11th overall pick by Golden State in the 1974 NBA Draft and went on to earn Rookie of the Year honors as a member of the Warriors 1975 NBA Championship team.
The Warriors secured the 11th overall selection in the 2026 NBA Draft as a result of last month's NBA Draft Lottery. This marks the ninth time in franchise history that the Warriors have held the 11th overall selection. The last time Golden State held the 11th overall pick was in 2011, when it selected guard Klay Thompson.
For the third consecutive year, the second round of the NBA Draft will be held on a separate day, taking place on Wednesday, June 24. The Warriors own the 54th overall pick in the second round of the 2026 NBA Draft.
