Grupo Frontera, a six-member música Mexicana group hailing from the South Texas valley, has taken the music world by storm with their infectious energy and authentic sound. Comprising long-time friends Adelaido Solís, Julian Peña Jr., Alberto Acosta, Carlos Zamora, Carlos Guerrero, and Juan Javier Cantu, Grupo Frontera officially launched their career together in February 2022. Their rapid rise to stardom was propelled by a viral TikTok cover of “No Se Va,” showcasing their chemistry, collaborative spirit, and commitment to excellence. Renowned for their norteño and cumbia sounds, Grupo Frontera has become sought-after collaborators within the música Mexicana scene, working with artists such as Peso Pluma, Shakira, Christian Nodal, and Bad Bunny, with whom they performed their record-breaking hit “un x100to” at Coachella. Their debut album “El Comienzo” soared to number 34 on the Billboard 200 and earned them critical acclaim, leading to multiple award nominations and wins, including Latin American Music Awards and Billboard Latin Music Awards. Most recently, Grupo Frontera received an official day named after them in Edinburg, Texas, in recognition of their cultural impact. With exciting projects on the horizon and signed to BorderKid Records, distributed by Sony Music Latin, Grupo Frontera continues to captivate audiences worldwide with their innovative music and electrifying performances.
