The Golden State Warriors and Chase Center, the Warriors new 18,064-seat privately financed sports and entertainment arena in San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood, today announced that GRAMMY-award winning artist, Chance the Rapper, will perform in concert on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Chase Center. The show marks the first stop on his The Big Day Tour and only performance in the Bay Area. For this show, Chance will be joined by rapper and younger brother Taylor Bennett. The Big Day Tour comes in support of the July 26 release of Chance’s debut studio album, The Big Day, a follow-up project to his 2016 mixtape, Coloring Book.
A presale will be held for Chase Center Members leading up to the general public onsale on August 2 at 10:00 a.m. During the general public onsale, Chase cardholders will have the opportunity to purchase Chase Preferred Seats when using their Chase credit or debit card. Fans will be able to purchase tickets by visiting chasecenter.com.
Chance the Rapper first reached mainstream success in 2013 with the release of his second mixtape, Acid Rain. He followed that up with Coloring Book in 2016, which went on to win three GRAMMY Awards, including Best Rap Album and made history by becoming the first streaming-only album to win a GRAMMY Award. Also heavily involved in activism and politics, Chance has led numerous campaigns to benefit his hometown of Chicago, including a pledge to donate $1,000,000 to Chicago Public Schools.
