Dumpling Time at Thrive City Open Now

Dumpling Time, a dumpling and beer house from the acclaimed restaurant team behind San Francisco’s Niku Steakhouse and adjoining Butcher Shop by Niku, Okane, and Michelin-Starred Omakase, is the first restaurant open at Thrive City, the surrounding district of Chase Center. Dumpling Time joins already-open retailers b8ta, Chase Bank and Warriors Shop with additional restaurants and retail locations set to open throughout the remainder of the year. During the week of Feb. 3, Dumpling Time will be open for lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and for dinner from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. For their full slate of hours, visit DumplingTimeSF.com.

Dumpling Time at Thrive City will capture the joy of Asian dumpling traditions as imagined through the Western lens with a menu centered on handmade dim sum inspired by Chinese and Japanese preparations made with local California ingredients. Dumpling Time Brand Director Edgar Agbayani and Executive Dumpling Chef Do Leung have collaborated to introduce offerings at Thrive City inspired by those on the menus at Dumpling Time’s Ginza and Shibuya restaurants in Tokyo, Japan. Dumpling Time Thrive City will offer a full bar with cocktails in addition to beer and wine.

When complete, Thrive City will feature over 20 restaurants and retailers for neighbors and visitors to enjoy year-round. Additional previously announced Thrive City retailers include:
