Andrea Bocelli managed to rise from humble beginnings to become one of the most beloved and revered figures in music. Bocelli was born with glaucoma and was completely stripped of his eyesight at the age of 12 following a freak soccer injury. The condition did not stop Bocelli from growing into a world-renowned singer, becoming the best-selling classical solo artist in history, or indulging in one of his favorite past times, horseback riding.
Bocelli will kick off his tour at Chase Center on December 5. The show also marks his first performance with the San Francisco Symphony. Bocelli will fill Chase Center with his notable love songs, other masterpieces from his unmatched repertoire, as well as music from his newest release and Billboard chart-topping record Sì.
