Warriors’ Alison Wright Honored With NBA’s Prestigious Pete Winemiller Guest Experience Innovation Award

The Golden State Warriors and Chase Center announced today that Senior Director of Guest Experiences, Alison Wright, is the recipient of the NBA’s esteemed 2024 Pete Winemiller Guest Experience Innovation Award. Wright was honored during the NBA Sales and Marketing Meetings yesterday in Miami.

With over a decade of professional experience spanning multiple NBA teams, Wright has demonstrated unparalleled dedication to elevating the fan experience. She played a pivotal role in transforming the Guest Experiences operation at Chase Center, managing a diverse team of over 400 individuals, and implementing innovative initiatives to enhance guest and team satisfaction.

Before joining the Warriors and Chase Center, Wright's journey began with the Detroit Pistons in 2008. Now in her third year in San Francisco, she brings knowledge that spans across the sports industry, with professional experience at three of the four national sports leagues and three different NBA teams. Her passion for creating unforgettable moments for fans led her to implement annual surveys, establish leadership workshops, and foster collaboration across departments, driving impactful changes for guests, employees, and stakeholders at Chase Center.

The Pete Winemiller Guest Experience Innovation Award, which pays tribute to the late Pete Winemiller—former Senior Vice President of Guest Relations for the Oklahoma City Thunder—recognizes an individual from one NBA team annually who demonstrates innovation and enhances the live game experience for fans and guests throughout the year. Wright was chosen for her innovation, customer service, knowledge sharing, and commitment to treating fans as esteemed guests.
