Enjoy this delicious dish before, during, or after the Warriors game.
Ingredients: Short Rib Sliders
• 3 lbs. Short Ribs (see below)
• 1 cup Adobo Sauce (see below)
• 1 bag/jar Crispy Onions
• 8 each Brioche Slider Buns
Toast bun in pan or skillet. On bottom of bun, place shredded short rib. Top with some of the sauce and the crispy onions, and place bun.
Ingredients: Short Ribs
• 3 lbs. Short Ribs
• 1 teaspoon Salt
• 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
• 3 cups Beef Broth (store bought)
• 2 oz. Worcestershire Sauce
• 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
• 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
• 2 sprigs Rosemary (fresh)
Season the short ribs with salt and pepper. Heat a large skillet over high heat. Sear the short ribs on each side for 1-2 minutes. In a Crock Pot or slow cooker, pour the beef broth and mix in the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and stir together. Heat oven to 275F. Place the short ribs in the Crock Pot, cover and cook for 6-8 hours or until meat is very tender. When they're done, simply pull meat apart.
Ingredients: Adobo Sauce
• 1.5 quart Coconut Milk
• 0.2 lbs. Achiote Paste
• 1 Bay Leaf
• 1 sprigs Dried Oregano
• 1 Tablespoon chopped Garlic
• 1 Tablespoon chopped Shallots
• 2 sprigs chopped Thyme (fresh)
• ½ cup Sugar
In a pot, place all ingredients except sugar. Bring to a boil and then allow to simmer for approx. 35 minutes, stirring occasionally. Adjust seasoning with sugar, salt, and pepper. Let cool.
