Chase Center Names Chad Neuman Culinary Director

Chase Center and the Golden State Warriors, in partnership with Bon Appétit Management Company, announced today the appointment of Chef Chad Neuman as Culinary Director. Neuman brings vast fine dining and arena experience having led culinary teams at various stops around the world, including in Malaysia and Thailand. In this role, Neuman will lead the food and beverage program for the venue, oversee premium catering menus and manage a team of a half-dozen Bon Appétit executive chefs and executive sous chefs, in addition to leading a team of 200 culinary staff members that service the arena’s premium spaces and 36 eateries.

At a press event today at Chase Center formally introducing Neuman, he unveiled his first update to the food program, Wings and Woks, a unique spin on wings inspired by his time in Asia.

“Chad sets the bar for premium culinary experiences with his unique combination of fine dining and large arena experience,” said Warriors President and Chief Operating Officer Brandon Schneider. “I cannot wait to welcome fans back to Chase Center to experience Chad’s innovative and visionary menus as we strive to provide an incredible dining experience for all of our guests.”

A native of Puerto Rico, Neuman started his career at the Ritz-Carlton in San Juan, Puerto Rico, followed by stints as an Executive Sous Chef at Amway Arena in Orlando and Executive Chef at the Ritz-Carton in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Neuman joined the Chase Center culinary team as Executive Chef in 2019 and was part of the arena’s grand opening that same year.

With an unprecedented eight full-size industrial kitchens, Chase Center has accomplished something that had not been done before in arena dining operations—produce from-scratch food options that represent the best of the Bay Area, all of which can be served at scale. Working with Bon Appétit, Chase Center sources ingredients from local farms and vendors within a 150-mile radius who commit to environmentally and socially responsible practices. In addition, the Taste Makers at Chase Center program benefits local small business food and beverage vendors by providing the opportunity to sell their food and have a presence inside Chase Center.
