Chase Center’s Lily Johnson Named to the International Association of Venue Managers’ 30 Under 30 Class of 2024

Lily Johnson, the Golden State Warriors and Chase Center’s Manager of Events, was named to the International Association of Venue Managers’ (IAVM) 30 Under 30 Class of 2024, it was announced today. Designed to engage the best and brightest young professionals in the venue management industry, the 30 Under 30 program recognizes emerging leaders and their talents, which helps accelerate the industry and carry it into the future.

“Lily’s recognition by IAVM is a testament to her exceptional talent and dedication,” said Chase Center General Manager Donna Daniels. “She consistently demonstrates her leadership and innovation, enriching the event management industry with her unique perspective and unwavering commitment. Her achievements reflect the spirit of excellence that defines our organization. Congratulations, Lily, on this well-deserved honor!"

Johnson is entering her sixth season with the Warriors, where she oversees a portfolio of over 100 events annually, working with diverse stakeholders to ensure each event is smoothly executed from start to finish. In 2019, she played a key role in the grand opening of Chase Center. Johnson is a certified High Rise Fire Safety Director for Chase Center through the San Francisco Fire Department and is a certified Trained Crowd Manager through IAVM. She is currently on track to graduate from IAVM’s Venue Management School in June 2024.

Prior to joining the Warriors and Chase Center, Johnson held event services and operations roles with the Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, Nike, and Indiana University. A native of Mahomet, Illinois, Johnson graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Hospitality, Tourism and Event Management and a minor in Marketing through the Kelley School of Business.

Johnson will be honored at IAVM’s Annual Conference & Trade Show, VenueConnect, in Portland, Oregon, July 28-31.

Launched at VenueConnect 2015 in Baltimore, the IAVM 30 Under 30 focuses on identifying and developing the talent of venue industry professionals, 30 years of age and under, through increased access and exposure to industry networking and thought leadership. The program provides year-round continued education for professional growth in the venue industry and helps program participants become better, more productive employees.
