The 2022 NBA Champion Golden State Warriors and Thrive City announced the grand opening of Cupcakin’ Bake Shop, a sustainable, artisan-style cupcake shop, on Tuesday, October 18, at 11 a.m.
Cupcakin’ Bake Shop will provide Thrive City visitors a variety of cupcake offerings, including limited edition peach cobbler cupcake, classic red velvet and signature key lime pie. The Thrive City location, located adjacent to the Warriors Team Shop, will be open daily from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Cupcakin’ Bake Shop is the realized vision of owner Lila Owens, who started an at-home cupcake catering business in 2007 before opening her first brick and mortar store in Berkeley in 2014. As an advocate for sustainability and the natural and local food movement, all products at Cupcakin’ Bake Shop are made from high quality, sustainable ingredients including Valrhona cocoa powder, Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Extract, local fruits, cage-free eggs and non-GMO oils.
This marks Cupcakin’ Bake Shop’s fifth Bay Area location, with two locations open in Berkeley, one in Oakland and one in Walnut Creek. For more information, visit cupcakinbakeshop.com.
