Thrive City Announces Addition of Che Fico Pizzeria
Thrive City has announced the addition of Che Fico Pizzeria, a new concept by David Nayfeld and Matt Brewer of Back Home Hospitality, the team behind the award-winning San Francisco restaurants Che Fico and Che Fico Alimentari. Che Fico’s signature pizza, made with a naturally fermented dough and hand pulled cheese, will be available by the pie and slice, and featured alongside salads, sandwiches, and soft serve gelato. The restaurant is slated to open in late fall for dinner seven days a week.
With an expansive full-service bar and large screen televisions throughout the space, Che Fico Pizzeria will be a destination for those going to Chase Center and Thrive City events as well as a gathering place to watch sporting events over food and drink. The space, designed by Jon de la Cruz of DLC ID, will have a walk-up window serving slices and gelato to-go and a large outdoor space overlooking the San Francisco Bay.
Che Fico Pizzeria is the latest concept from Nayfeld and Brewer. This summer, to the duo will open two new concepts in Menlo Park: Che Fico Parco Menlo and Il Mercato Di Che Fico.
Thrive City retailers in operation include Chase Bank, Cupcakin’ Bake Shop, Dumpling Time, Gott’s Roadside, Harmonic Brewing, Miller & Lux, Mission Bay Wine Bar, Philz Coffee and Warriors Shop. Additional retailers will be announced in the near future.
