Thrive City Establishes Record In Summer Programming Attendance

The Golden State Warriors and Thrive City, the plaza surrounding Chase Center, recently concluded the 2023 summer programming schedule, which saw a record of 15,000 guests visit the gathering space. With an impressive 31 events hosted from June to September, Thrive City has proven to be an unparalleled event space as shown through their robust portfolio of community events ranging from sports and fitness to live music and family-friendly activities.
In addition to the record number of events and attendees, Thrive City highlights from June to September include:
- 2023 Summer Programming saw a 158% increase in attendance over 2022.
- Thrive City increased its event count by 138%.
- Introduced six new events: Golf Day, Hoop It Up 3x3 Basketball Tournament, Block Party, Paws-itively Summer, Family Fitness Sundays, and Harmonic Jam.
- Free Music Classes — Little Bears Music Classes will host music classes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers every Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. until November 17. DJ Classes from the Blue Bear School of Music will be offered every Thursday from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. until November 16.
- Football Watch Parties — Football Sundays are coming to Thrive City! Free, weekly screenings of your favorite professional football games will be offered every Sunday on the largest outdoor video board in San Francisco. Each screening will include one featured game and a split screen with multiple games.
- Live Music Performances — The Rock and Roll Playhouse, the largest national kid-friendly live concert series, will make a stop at Thrive City on September 30 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. On Tuesday, October 3 from 12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m., Thrive City’s Live Music Lunch Series will tip off with a performance from Diamondbacks Rock Band.
- Themed Celebrations — On the first Friday of October, November, and December, music-lovers can enjoy themed celebrations of live music and special promotions in Thrive City before a show at Chase Center. Thrive City will also host its third-annual Thrilloween Halloween celebration on October 28, with activities such as trunk-or-treat, mini pumpkin decorating, and other family-friendly thrills.
