
Thrive City To Host Pickleball Tournament This Summer
Thrive City has announced it will host a Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13. The tournament returns for a second year featuring nine full-sized courts located throughout Thrive City and capacity for over 100 teams to compete. The tournament is open to ages 19+ and will feature a doubles team format for players with a skill level of 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5. Registration is required to participate, but the community is welcome to attend and observe matches as spectators. The deadline for registration is Monday, July 7 at 11:59 p.m.

* Live Music Lunch Series – Grab a bite to eat at one of Thrive City’s eateries and enjoy live music from local Bay Area musicians on Tuesdays from 12 to 1:30 p.m. through June 10.
* Little Bears Music Classes Little Bears returns to Thrive City with its music classes for babies, toddlers and preschoolers on Friday mornings from 10 to 11 a.m. through June 13
* Mother’s Day Blankets & BlockbustersThrive City will host a special Blankets & Blockbusters in honor of Mother’s Day weekend on Sunday, May 11, with craft stations, massage chairs, a kids zone, and a screening of “Moana 2.” Blankets & Blockbusters will return on Friday, June 13 with a screening of “The Princess and The Frog.”
* Blue Bear Teen Music Showcase On Sunday, May 18, Blue Bear’s All Star Band program will showcase their talented students with a special performance at Thrive City from 1 to 5 p.m. Sit and relax, play lawn games, and enjoy the afternoon of music. This event may be canceled if a Game 6 is necessary in the Western Conference Semifinals series between the Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
