Warriors Announce Upcoming Thrive City Programming
The Golden State Warriors today announced upcoming Thrive City programming with a slate of summer events including Live at Thrive City, presented by Chase, Blankets and Blockbusters, and Health and Wellness Sundays, presented by Kaiser Permanente. Thrive City events, which are free and open to the public, aim to provide Bay Area community members access to a variety of activations focused on health and wellness, arts and culture, sports and entertainment and civic engagement. Events will run beginning this Friday, July 8, through October.

On Friday, July 8, at 6 p.m., the Warriors will open summer programming with a “Hella Funny Comedy Night” as part of Live at Thrive City, presented by Chase, a live music and comedy series. The show will be headlined by Kabir Singh and Andrew Orolfo with featured acts Emily Van Dyke and Story Moyd. Additional Live at Thrive City dates include July 22, August 12, and August 26.
The Warriors will tip off Blankets & Blockbusters, a family-friendly cinema series, on Saturday, July 16, at 3 p.m. on Thrive City’s 3,108 square foot video board. In addition to the movie viewing, fans will enjoy a crafts station, body art, photo booths and inflatables as part of the Kid Zone, as well as branded giveaways. Blankets & Blockbusters will continue on August 20, September 10 and October 15 with a variety of movie themes.
On Sunday, July 31, at 10 a.m., Health & Wellness Sundays, presented by Kaiser Permanente, will tip off at Thrive City. This Total Health event series will feature a variety of fitness classes, healthy eating workshops, mental wellness sessions, local entertainment, and more for guests of all ages. Additional Health & Wellness Sundays dates include August 28, September 11 and October 2.
In addition, beginning on July 31, the Warriors and Kaiser Permanente will host free fitness classes and wellness sessions at Thrive City the Wednesday and Sunday of each week through October 9. Wednesday classes will take place from 5 – 7:30 p.m., while Sunday classes will be held from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Each class will feature a new wellness theme, which will be announced at a later date.
