Live at Thrive City: Hella Funny Comedy Night

Outside and out loud is when breakthrough acts shine their brightest. Thrive City is tearing the roof off live entertainment with our can’t miss music and comedy lineup geared toward mature audiences. Live at Thrive City presented by Chase is a festival-style experience featuring a 2-hour showcase of multiple performers on the main stage, food and drinks from the Bay Area’s Best, and a whole lot more.

Live at Thrive City on August 12, 2022 is hosted by Funcheap and HellaFunny, the team behind the Bay Area’s popular HellaSecret comedy shows. Comedy headliners and features include:

• Ellis Rodriguez - The Improv, Laughs Unlimited, Tommy T’s, PepperBelly’s, and the Laugh Factory. He has also performed in filmed showcases including Shaq’s All Star Jam, Laugh’s On FOX, and Comedy Central & Kevin Hart’s Hart of the City.

• Dhaya Lakshminarayanan - She has also been invited to perform at some of the top festivals in the US including Bridgetown Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, The Boston Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival, and Laugh Your Asheville Off.

• Stroy Moyd - Three-time winner of the Fresh Faces Comedy Competition at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood, CA and has performed at SF Sketchfest plus numerous comedy festivals around the country. He most recently booked a role playing himself on "Blindspotting" on STARZ.

• Gary Anderson - Hollywood Laugh Factory, San Jose Improv, Cobb’s and San Francisco Punchline. He was recently featured on TruTV and is currently a writer on "The Ms Pat's Show" on BET.

• Murahd Shawki - He’s performed at the Sacramento Punch Line, The Set-Up, Comedy Oakland, Cobb's Comedy Club and more. He most recently went viral with a total of 20 million combined views across social media for his Don't Tell Comedy Special.

- No weapons of any kind
- No alcohol brought on plaza
- No panhandling, solicitation or loitering
- No coolers
- No smoking of any kind
- No amplified sound
- No drones
- No motorized vehicles, bicycles, or scooters (bicycles can be locked at any rack on streets around the venue)
- No pamphlets or product samples
- No overnight camping
- No tents
- All garbage, bottles, cans, paper, or other waste matter should be placed in designated trash and recycling receptacles
- No trespassing when Thrive City is closed
- Any other prohibited items, activity, or behaviors deemed unsafe, or unacceptable by Chase Center Management
