Fikscue Craft Barbecue (pronounced Fix-Cue) is an Indonesian-Texas restaurant by husband-wife duo Fik and Reka Saleh. The eatery has received numerous accolades for their distinct creation of slow-smoked, Texas-style barbecue combined with rich Indonesian flavors. Menu highlights include Texas-style smoked brisket, dino ribs, and Indonesian dishes such as nasi goreng, a fried rice dish, soto padang, a beef noodle soup, and more.
The restaurant’s interior features an industrial aesthetic with open ceilings, bold mural art and pops of color that add vibrancy to the space. The outside patio showcases the impressive “pitroom” and a cozy and inviting atmosphere for watching a game, enjoying a sunset or sharing a meal with friends and family. Shared seating with Harmonic Brewing will also be available up on the Esplanade.
Fikscue Craft BBQ is an innovator in the barbecue scene, having opened a pop-up business in 2020 before serving their Indo-Tex dishes from their current brick-and-mortar restaurant in Alameda that opened in 2023. Since then, Fikscue has received recognition as one of the best restaurants in America by numerous publications including The New York Times.
