Black History Month Celebration


Join us in Thrive City for our annual Black History Month Celebration presented by Waymo on Monday, February 19th! Enjoy live entertainment from Queen Iminah & AAFE Kids and Diamano Coura West African Dance Company! Thrive City is also partnering with Krisspi to provide free select haircuts and designs on a first-come, first-served basis! There will also be an arts & crafts station and a variety of culinary delights to snack on.

In addition, stop by the Black History 101 Mobile Museum’s immersive Music of the Movement exhibit which delves into the powerful impact of music on the social, cultural, and political movements of the Black experience in America. The exhibit showcases the rich history and legacy of Black music, highlighting the resilience and contributions of Black people in the face of racial discrimination.

The exhibit features a range of cultural and historical artifacts that celebrate the important role that Black music has played in shaping American culture and society. These artifacts include vinyl records, press photos, flyers, clothing items, contracts other ephemera from iconic artists who have shaped popular culture around the world.

March Basketball Viewings


March college basketball is back and Thrive City is “going dancing”! Watch from the Thrive City plaza board and mentally prepare for an underdog “Cinderella” team to bust your meticulous bracket (odds of a flawless bracket are 1 in 9.2 quintillion)! So bring your friends and family to enjoy these upcoming viewings on the big screen! Lawn chairs will be available to guests on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • No Motorized vehicles
  • No Pamphlets or product samples
  • No Overnight camping
  • No Tents
  • All Garbage, bottles, cans, paper, or other waste matter should be placed in designated trash and recycling receptacles
  • No Trespassing when Thrive City is closed
  • Any other prohibited items, activity, or behaviors deemed unsafe, or unacceptable by Chase Center Management
